Who owns my data? You do!

You retain ownership of your data.

PDM provides 24/7 access to downloads of your data (patient,
guarantor, insurance, financial and appointments). At any time of the
day or night you can request your data and save it in an Excel or
comma-deliminated file that can be used as input to Access.
Will my data be secure? Yes!

Your data will be stored in a separate unique database instance, you
will not be sharing a database with any other client.

You will assign your own user ID's and passwords.

PDM provides a complete disaster backup and recovery process to
ensure the highest level of reliability and availablility.

PDM uses redundant configurations to minimize interruptions. This
means that all of your data is automatically stored in two places. If
one disk should fail, the second is automatically switched used.

PDM provides daily backups of your data.

PiMS utilizes leading industry standard software technologies and
platforms. We monitor all security updates and releases to ensure you
are on the most stable platform possible.

PiMS uses the most advanced and powerful relational database systems
available.

All of PDM's servers and support staff are located within
continental United States.

Will I be HIPAA compliant? Yes!

PiMS is HIPAA compliant for security and privacy.

PiMS access is provided via a secured connection that meets HIPPA
security requirements.

PiMS has strict password requirements, a minimal of 6 characters are
required. Users are required to change their passwords regularly and
passwords cannot be reused.

PiMS will also sign off automatically when the system is not
used.

Every time patient data is viewed, the user, date and time are
recorded. Audit reports are available showing access to patient data.
These reports are available real-time and can be used to satisfy the
HIPAA Privacy reporting.
Can I cancel at anytime and get access to my data?

You can cancel PiMS with at any time with a 30-day notice.
