Visits and Automatic Accounts

PiMS Admissions eliminates the need to create patient accounts. New accounts are automatically produced according to third party requirements and all related visits are linked to that account. Accounts may include both inpatient and outpatient visits, but will output a single bill for insurance needs.

Users can also access quick and thorough overviews of patient care since all visits are tracked and recorded in a sophisticated data bank.

Work With Multiple Patients

PiMS Admissions gives you the freedom to work with more than one patient at a time. Because the program is designed for Windows, you can easily switch between multiple windows to view a number of patient records.

Guarantors and Insurance

PiMS Admissions conveniently separates guarantor information from the patient account, for added flexibility. If the patient is also the guarantor, a link is established so that only one set of data is maintained. Similarly, information on insurance coverage is maintained apart from the insurance plan, facilitating quick identification of the patient's correct insurance information.

Referring Physicians

Timely access to information about a referring physician is a vital tool for marketing your facility's services. PiMS Admissions puts this information at your fingertips because it stores the referring physician's name with the corresponding patient visit. You can even track referrals by physician type.

Multi-Facility Support

PiMS applications support a central database containing patient information that is shared among a number of facilities. Simply use your medical record numbers or corporate membership ID to identify a patient and access their information. Alternate references such as lab numbers can also be used. With this handy feature, hospitals, satellite clinics, labs, and physician groups can access a complete medical history for any patient regardless of where they previously received treatment. And the patient is no longer inconvenienced by having to provide each facility with a separate set of data. Everybody wins!
