View Claim Tracking By Account
You use the View Claim Tracking By Account function to display all tracked claims for an account. Tracking records are displayed in follow-up date order, and display regardless of whether the tracking record is currently on a worklist or waiting for a follow-up date.
The function allows an employee access to a claim even when the claim is not on that employee’s worklist. For example, if an employee handles a telephone call from an insurance company on a claim which is not on her assigned worklist, it allows that employee to record any activity or notes on the claim.
To view claim tracking by account number:

Select View Claim Tracking by Account from the Claims menu.

Enter the account number of the account to be affected. Press Enter or click OK for a display of tracked claims for the account.
To record an activity:

Select the appropriate claim. Press Enter or click OK. The View Claim Tracking By Account - Activity screen displays.

Enter the activity code which best describes the action that has occurred or that should take place. Press Enter or click OK for display of the default days to follow-up that are associated with the activity code. The numeric value in the Days to Follow-Up field can be overridden.

Enter any additional notes regarding the activity in the Second Line of Notes field. These notes are posted for viewing in the View Account Notes function.

Check that the information is correct and press Enter or click OK.
