View Pending Reschedule -A
The View Pending Reschedules function is used to view and reschedule appointments
that may need updated.
Appointments only appear on the pending reschedule list if the indicators were checked when the Block Resource Availability or Add Holiday/Meeting was used. If the indicators for Normal/Overbook Appointments to Reschedule List or Forced
Book Appointments to Reschedule List are turned on, scheduled appointments will move to the Pending Reschedule list.
From the pending reschedules work list, you can select appointments and reschedule them. The work list indicates the patient’s telephone number for easy access.
To view pending reschedules:

Select Pending Reschedules from the Views menu.

Enter the group, start date, and end date. The group defaults to your sign-on group, the start date defaults the current date, and the end date defaults to 30 days into the future.

To reschedule an appointment, select the appointment and click OK. The first Reschedule Appointment screen shows the next available appointment slot after the original appointment date and time for the appointment’s order profile.

Reschedule the appointment just as you would if you were using the Reschedule Appointment function. See Rescheduling an Appointment for information on how rescheduling appointments. When you finish rescheduling the appointment, you return to the pending reschedules work list so you can select another appointment to reschedule.

When all the appointments are rescheduled, click Cancel to close the window.
