View Exceptions
You use the View Exceptions function to reconcile daily activities. Exceptions are appointments that have not completed all the steps of appointment processing. Exceptions include patients who have not checked in, have checked in but have not checked out, or have not turned in a fee sheet.
You can update or reschedule appointments on the exceptions list for a period of time (defined for your sign-on group) after the date of the appointment. After that time, you must use the Appointment History function to make changes to the appointment.
To view exceptions:

Select Exceptions from the Views menu.

Enter the group and start time for the exception list you want to view. You can also narrow the search by entering a location. The screen lists the exceptions meeting the criteria you entered.

When you finish reviewing the information, click Cancel.
