Introduction
The Ad-Hoc Reporting Reference Manual is intended for those personnel who need to develop ad-hoc queries against the PiMS database. The manual does not cover writing queries—refer to your database management system’s documentation.
This manual is separated into two sections: Table Views and Additional Tables. In the Table View section, the most used PiMS table views are documented. For each table view, the manual provides a description, information on joining with other tables and a list of data elements. For each data element a description, length, data type and special considerations are provided.
The Additional tables sections lists additional PiMS tables that can be used for ad-hoc reporting. For these tables, a list of data elements is NOT included in this manual. For profile tables, the Profile Reference Guide can be used for more information on usage and data elements. For non-profile tables, the SQL definitions can be used to identify data elements.
Note: The number of blank spaces used in the Key are designated by "^" character in its subscript position.
