Merge/Inactivate PatientWhen there are multiple patient ID’s for the same patient, merging patients will merge all of the account, visits, orders, notes and third parties to one patient ID. The duplicated patient is marked as inactive and cannot be selected for registration or new account activity. You can view the merged patient ID’s and accounts numbers as part of the patient history for a record of any transactions for the patient. There are functions to inactivate and activate patients that do not require merging but need to be marked as inactive. Related FAQ's
