Scheduling ViewsPiMS provides view functions that you can use to view appointment information for patients, resources, groups or locations in a variety of formats. Using these functions, you can view current schedules, historical information and utilization statistics. From the view screens, you can easily access any pertinent patient information in other PiMS scheduling functions. For example, from the View Group Schedule screen, you can select an appointment and jump to the Arrive In function when the patient is at the office, instead of having to key in the patient name and search. When you start a view function, enter selection criteria to specify the information you want to view. Fields at the top of the view screen list the selection criteria. You can update these selection criteria fields to change the information listed. On appointment schedule screens, an asterisk indicates appointments that were scheduled within 24 hours of the appointment date and time. Group/Location SchedulesWith PiMS, the group schedule can be viewed online or printed. The View Group Resource function is a graphical look at all of the resource's schedules. If a group has different locations, the View Location function can be used to view a specific location's scheduled appointments. Resource SchedulesPiMS provides several functions for viewing a resource's schedule for a day. The View Group Resource function displays all appointments for the resource. The View Resource Availability function shows scheduled appointments as well as open slots. The View Resource Booking Days function shows a summary of available, booked, regular and overbooked slots for ten days at a time. The View Resource Utilization by Month and View Resource Booking functions display summaries of the resource's schedule for a month. Additional ViewsPiMS also provides a view of exceptions. Exceptions include patients that were no shows, were checked in but not checked out, or which a patient's fee sheets were not obtained. You can also display all canceled appointments to support rescheduling. Related Functions (Patient)
