Visit Codes

The Visit Code profile defines the types of visits that can be entered in PiMS. PiMS provides a basic set of visit codes to match a variety of specialties. You can deactivate or activate those visit codes that you want available for your business process.

• Review the visit codes and decide which visit codes you want to use.

Deactivate a Visit Code

1. Select Deactivate Visit Code from the File menu.
2. Enter the visit code to deactivate.
   
3. You can also enter a partial visit code or a blank. A list of active visit codes starting with the characters you input will be displayed. Select the visit to deactivate.
4. The visit code detail screen displays. Press or select OK deactivate the visit code.
   

Activate a Visit Code

1. Select Activate Visit Code from the File menu.
2. Enter the visit code to activate.
   
3. You can also enter a partial visit code or a blank. A list of deactivated visit codes starting with the characters you input will be displayed. Select the visit code to activate.
4. The visit code detail screen displays.  Press or select OK activate the visit code.
