Customizing PiMS Frames

PiMS utilizes the Windows Multiple Document Interface (MDI) introduced by Microsoft Windows operating system. This interface allows multiple child windows within a frame window. The frame window has the menu and button bar.

Frame/Desktop maintenance is used to add and modify PiMS functions to a frame for a user’s accessibility.

PDM provides a master frame of functions to each client; this is the base from which all other frames/desktops are maintained. Only selected staff members should have rights to make these changes.PDM updates the master frame when new functions are introduced to the PiMS product in new releases and snapshots.
