Test the Claim Form Printer

Once your claim form printer has been set up, test the printing of claim forms by printing a test file, PRINTEXT.TST, that consists of 80 columns by 63 lines.

  1. Execute the program NASPRNTB (which is located in the \pdmpims\system directory under the PiMS Root directory):                NASPRNTB -fprintext.tst -s12 -tcourier -wbold -p\\server-name\printer-name
  2. The test should result in one full page bordered with x's, 80 columns by 63 lines and a readable text message. If you encounter any other results, consult the printer manufacturer for updated driver information.
Note:  the claim form requires the HP Laserjet III print driver to print correctly. The spacing is critical and this print driver has been tested to print the form with precision.
